This November, Shorewood voters will elect two City Council Members, each serving a four-year term beginning in January 2027. The filing period for election to those positions ended on July 28th and the withdrawal period ended July 30th.
Two individuals filed for election:
- Guy Sanschagrin. Guy is currently an incumbent member of the council who was elected in 2022.
- Eric Magistad. Eric is currently an appointed member of the Shorewood Planning Commission.
With no one else filing for election, Guy and Eric will be sworn in and begin their four year terms in January 2027.
SCA has invited the two candidates to submit for publication an article introducing themselves and providing their goals and priorities once elected.
