SCA started as an idea in 2019. After three years of incubation, the website went live in summer of 2023. The goals were to focus on local government accountability, transparency, environmental stewardship, and citizen education by publishing well sourced articles.
Overall, we are proud of our accomplishments and the buzz we have created around the community.
- In 2024 we successfully navigated SCA’s first local election cycle by publishing profiles for all candidates.
- Published 160+ articles since inception.
- Had over 55,000 visits to pages on the site.
