On February 23rd the Shorewood City Council voted 4-1 in favor of an Environmental Assessment Worksheet for the proposed Watten Ponds 2nd Addition.
 
Four days after the vote, Gravity’s attorney notified the city that a lawsuit was imminent if the council did not rescind its resolution.

At a recent council meeting, the mayor scolded an audience of nearly 50 attendees for applauding after a resident spoke about raising her children in Shorewood.
 
The mayor gaveled the residents and said that clapping or any other form of approval would not be allowed.

An EAW is designed to evaluate potential environmental impacts and identify corrective measures before any final approvals.
